He stands as a rising name in both the New York and Lagos music scenes and is a co-founder of Radio 5.

Gzy is a top level filmmaker from Lagos, Nigeria based in NY/NJ. Skilled in cinematography, photography, and videography. His visual work is a core part of Radio 5’s recent success, contributing to multiple major projects.

DJ- @ilytobego

A multifaceted DJ based in NYC. Tobego is a talented DJ originally from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, she lived in Houston and now resides in Brooklyn, NY. This is one of the fastest rising female DJs in the New York and Dallas Afrobeats+ scene right now. She has worked with radio 5 on a few events, spinning the nice tunes for the audience, and in some cases, assisting with curation of the event.

DJ- @dany.kalu

Talented and energetic DJ from port harcourt, Nigeria, now based in Pennsylvania. He has shutdown shows across the USA and across the world at large being one of the most sought out DJs at last years “detty December“ in Lagos. Kal$ always brings the energy at the parties, with his comical stage presence or with his catchy DJ tag “kalzbaby”. He plays a major role in the current success of radio 5, spinning at a few of our events and also helping curate some. He’s a core figure in the creation/ curation of our “555 baby” series.

Musical artist/ rapper from the bronx, NY, with roots in Ghana and Togo. Yaya is a multitalented creative who dabbles in music, fashion and more. With no official projects out yet, Yaya is a rising performing artist, performing his melodic rap music alongside live bands and live audiences across the city. Yaya is also a core member of radio 5 who has assisted in the curation of every single event.

DJ- @tdrondecks

A genre-blending, open-format DJ from Lagos, Nigeria, now based in NYC. Arguably one of the best DJs in New York City right now. His talent is recognized worldwide, especially in the Lagos and New York music scenes, where he spends most of his time. He also explores fashion, event curation, and more. TDR is a pioneer for the new generation of young, talented DJs popping off in the scene. He’s also been a vital figure in the growth and success of Radio 5 events, having graced our decks several times. They call him “tdrondecks” for a reason.

Singer- @callme.dreyy__

Super talented singer/ vocalist from Lagos, Nigeria, currently based in NYC. His melodies and vocals were specially crafted by God for the real lovers. Having worked and collaborated with Destinee on several songs, he’s a close associate of radio 5.

A multidisciplinary creative from Abuja, Nigeria, now based in the Bay Area. Specializing in photo and video work, he also explores design, DJing, and fashion. He has filmed, shot, and produced various pieces of content for Radio 5.

Creative Director- @saiintmou

Creative director and personality from New Jersey with roots in Guinea. Based in NY/NJ, he expresses his style through his brand GWË Studios and fashion content on “saiintmousituation.” He frequently collaborates with Radio 5, hosting events with his entertainment collective OUTSIDERS FC and contributing creative direction.
